2 days in, 2 days left. This thing is hilariously fun. Much more to come later.
Renting a manual though Turo is highly recommended!

Never gotten anything that interesting from Turo ... but soon, maybe.

Do they measure the rear tire depth when you pick up the car?
Don’t Turo renters assume that the renters are going to beat the tar out of their car?

It’s totally worth it as a long test drive for a possible purchase. I imagine also to show up in style for an event, or just to drive fun cars. Mileage can be an issue though.

The rears were bare when I picked it up so I doubt they could measure it haha and there’s ample insurance so I’m sure they’re fine with whatever. But I’m being “careful”, definitely tested it with speed bumps ad nauseum.

I think I’ve done 4 or 5 Turo rentals - nothing that interesting. Mostly it’s cars that my mom can board (Volt, Camry, G35 ...) when I drive down to MD to see her. Hoping for a Gallardo one day.

Now that’s a shot for the stars. A supercar would be cool though. I’m thinking 911 for my next jaunt.

911 would be nice - do you think standard Gallardo counts as a supercar given it’s R8 underpinnings? Not that the classification is important - I’d still like to try one.

I definitely think so, but you should cross shop with typical rental companies to see pricing. You can get most of these cars that way if manual isn’t an option anyway.
